1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zayvori mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by [Your Legal Entity Name] ("Zayvori", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. We offer the Service to users in the United States and United Kingdom. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in other locations.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@zayvori.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each account is for a single user. You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

4. The Service

Zayvori is a personal recipe-collection application that allows you to save, organise, and share recipes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, though we will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content Is Yours

You retain full ownership of all recipes, notes, photos, collections, and other content you create or upload to the Service ("User Content").

5.2 Licence to Zayvori

By submitting User Content, you grant Zayvori a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, transmit, and display your User Content solely for the purposes of operating and providing the Service to you. We do not use your private recipes for marketing or share them publicly without your permission.

5.3 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights, licences, and permissions to submit the content.
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including recipe content scraped from third-party websites in violation of those sites' terms.
• Your content does not contain material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5.4 Content Removal

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations in the US or UK.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or Zayvori's systems or networks.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service through automated means without our prior written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any other malicious code.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein.
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure.
• Use the Service to collect or harvest personal data about other users without their consent.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Zayvori's Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, functionality, design, trademarks, logos, and software are and remain the exclusive property of Zayvori and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

7.2 Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.

7.3 Third-Party Content

Recipes, images, and other content sourced from third-party websites are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Saving a recipe from a third-party source to Zayvori is intended for your personal use only. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the terms of the originating site.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or services. These are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

The Service is built using Supabase as a backend platform. Your use of the Service is also subject to Supabase's terms where applicable, though Zayvori remains your primary point of contact for all matters relating to the Service.

9. Fees and Payment

The core Service is currently provided free of charge. We may in the future introduce paid features or subscription tiers. If we do, we will provide clear notice of applicable fees and obtain your consent before charging you. Any paid features will be subject to additional terms presented at the point of purchase.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen. Deletion is subject to the data retention provisions in our Privacy Policy.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, or the discontinuation of the Service.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 7, 11, 12, and 13) shall survive.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any recipes, nutritional information, or other content provided through the Service is accurate, complete, or suitable for your dietary needs or medical conditions.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

For UK users: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZAYVORI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) £50 / $50 (WHICHEVER CURRENCY IS APPLICABLE TO YOUR JURISDICTION).

For UK users: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 United Kingdom Users

If you are a UK resident, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms, provided that nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of any other part of the UK where you are resident.

13.2 United States Users

If you are a US resident, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by [Arbitration Body, e.g. JAMS or AAA] under its applicable rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13.3 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at hello@zayvori.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice within the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. General

• Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Zayvori regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may freely assign our rights and obligations.
• Language: These Terms are written in English. If translated, the English version shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
