Delete Account & Data

In short: You can close your Zayvori account and have all your personal data removed by emailing us at hello@zayvori.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

1. What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we permanently remove the following data associated with your account:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your hashed password and authentication credentials
  • All recipes, collections, notes, and liked recipes
  • Your in-app preferences and settings

Anonymised or aggregated usage statistics (which cannot identify you) may be retained for analytics purposes. We may also retain certain records for up to 7 years where required by law (e.g., financial or compliance records). See our Privacy Policy — Section 7 for full details.

2. How to Request Deletion

Account deletion is currently handled by our support team. To close your account and remove your data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to hello@zayvori.com from the email address registered to your Zayvori account.
  2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
  3. Include in the body: your registered email address and a brief note confirming you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
  4. We will verify your identity — we may reply with a short confirmation step to make sure the request is genuine before proceeding.
  5. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your verified request. We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion is done.

3. What Happens After Deletion

  • Your account becomes inaccessible immediately upon processing.
  • Your profile, recipes, and content are deleted from our live database within 30 days.
  • Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days of account deletion.
  • Your account cannot be restored after deletion is complete.

4. Before You Delete

There is currently no built-in data export feature. If you would like a copy of your recipes before closing your account, please mention this in your deletion request email and we will do our best to provide an export.
